We're watching the movie V for Vendetta right now and since we haven't seen it before, we're taking the opportunity to do so. In a society resembling George Orwell's classic 1984, the main characters V (Hugo Weaving) and Evie (Natalie Portman) question and oppose governmental control, and retort to violence in their quest for physical as well as psychological freedom. Loosely based on the tale of Guy Fawkes, but set in a near future, V for Vendetta highlights several important issues and is a very interesting and well-made movie.

This year's Blossa glögg has been revealed and although there aren't any descriptions of this year's flavour, except that it is a typically Swedish mulled wine with clear connotations of Dalarna/Dalecarlia (which also is the name of this year's glögg) and it does seem interesting. They open up the possibility for pre-ordering on October 1st and the price will be SEK 95.

I have a beautiful necklace and earrings in amber from the Danish island of Fanø and I have been thinking of finding a bracelet and a ring to go with them. This bracelet is not real amber, but the size and design are nevertheless matching them in a good way. As for a ring, let's see...
